The beginning

Mohter Tereza was born in 26 August 1910 in and she died in 1997 in India.Her name before she come a noun was Agnes Gonxha and she lived wich her family in Serbia On 25 September 1928 Agnes was 18 years old wen she gone Irland in the home of Loreto nouns.She wanted to be a Loreto nun because many of them worked in India .Agnes stayed with the nuns at Loreto House in Dublin for six weeks and she became a Sister Teresa. After that she travelled to Calcutta when she moved to one of the Loreto nouns ´schools .Mother tereza always said "I feel as a citizen of Skopje, my born city, but I belonged to the world".

School

This school was a big school for girls and most of this grils were from poor families she worked in the school in the morning and afternoon ,because many of this grils lived in the school .Sister Teresa liked teaching and she was good at at it but she wanted more .And Calcutta had some big problems : alot of people were very poor , they lived in the slums and many people didn´t have a home They lived and died in the streets .Mother teresa wanted to help the poor people in the slums but was difficult for her ,because she was a noun and nous did not often go to the streets .When the answer come to her go and work in the slums with the poor people.She waited two years then in August 1948 she can started work in the slum, when she moved into a small room near a slum.

Things few know about Mother Teresa.

Mother Teresa dressed in a poor blue and white saris , alone she walked into the slum and talked to poor children many of them had no home , no family , no school .She started to teach them in the street .And helped all the people who lived in the slum only with her hand Mother Teresa hand .For two months , Mother Tersa worked alone ,was very diffult time for her .Then two of Indian students from Loreto came to her and worked with her and they had a name ´The Missionaries of Charity ´ .They worked in the street schools and opened street clinics .Many people in Calcutta started to talk about Mother Teresa and they wanted to help her .For ten years ,Mother Teresa and her Missionaries of Charity worked only in Calcuttan then they started worked in a lots of countrys around the word .

In 1979 mother teresa was on television because the Nobel Peace Price was went to her . In 1980 there were Missionaries of Charity in 100 countries , they were not only in a poor countries .In 1990 Mother Tersa was 80 years old but she did not stop working .Mother Teresa died in September 1997 at the home of Missionaries of Charity in Calcutta the Holy See began the process of beatification, the third step toward possible canonization. This process requires the documentation of a miracle performed from the intercession of Mother Teresa.
